Each necklace is carefully and affectionately handmade in Minetta's studios in Santa Fe or New York. The materials are the best found after many years of experience and much traveling.

All clasps and findings are either sterling silver or 18K gold. The beads are sterling silver, 18K gold, turquoise, coral, lapis lazuli - a mix of semi-precious stones and old trade beads from around the world. Some of the trade beads date back over three hundred years. The cord is either waxed linen imported from Ireland or lightly waxed cotton made in the USA.
